House Party Happenings with The Sims
The Sims House Party is one of the popular expansion packs that you can use to add a whole new dimension to your Sims game. Expansion packs are an easy way to make the Sims game feel new again. No matter how long you have been playing the Sims game, chances are that you will never get bored because there are so many expansion packs to choose from. What exactly can Sims expansion packs do for you? Expansion packs allow you to add a whole new angle to the Sims game. They add new characters, objects, locales, and challenges to your Sims world. The Sims House party is no exception.
Here are a few tips to get started with the Sims House Party. Begin by inserting the expansion pack disc into your disc drive and choose autorun. The program should automatically install. Once you have successfully launched the Sims game, get to know the neighborhoods. The neighborhood is where your Sims characters live. They work, live, and of course, party here. In the Sims House Party, you are allowed eight neighborhoods in total to control, which equals 80 households. You can switch between the different neighborhoods by using the left and right arrow buttons that are located at the top of the neighborhood screen.
The Sims House Party introduces at least six new non-playable characters to the Sims mix. One of these characters is the caterer, who you will get to know well after all the shindigs you throw. The caterer, in a sense, is the star of all your parties. The caterer is in charge of keeping the buffet tables humming and keeping the punch bowls filled for your guests. The caterer will be a steady help right up until 11:00 pm, when he must leave to get his ‘beauty sleep.’ One of the main drawbacks of using the caterer too much is the cost: with a price tag of $350 a day, the caterer does not come cheap. Another important character is the entertainer. The entertainer can be either female or male, and he or she will generally make an entrance by popping out of the Fancy Feet Cake Treat. The entertainer can be the source of party conflict. He or she may at times grab one of the party guests and kiss them, angering another of the guests.
If your party is not going according to plan, chances are the mime will shop up. The mime will try to mingle with your party guests. He will perform silly mime tricks, and this will generally raise the overall moral of the party. However, if things get really bad, the mime will attempt to steal things. If you try to get the mime to leave, he will refuse. The mime will generally not leave the party until he has entertained the guests.
Of course, if your Sims house party is going well, a whole other breed of characters will show up. Party crashers will show up if the party is going well. Party crashers can be either male or female. Party crashers usually add to the fun and ambience of the party. However, if the party mood starts to dip, the party crasher may become upset and start to smash and break things. You can ask the party crasher to leave, but expect a nasty comment about it.
If your party is going really well, chances are the secret celebrity will pay your party a visit. You know your party is going well when a black stretch limousine pulls up outside your house. The secret celebrity is a comedian who wears trademark black glasses. If this doesn’t ring a bell, then maybe you are not familiar with Drew Carey. If you are having a cool party, chance are Mr. Carey himself will drop in to say hi.
