PlayStation 3 Problems Are Ruining The Pleasure Of Owning This Gaming Console

Published by Author at 12:17 pm under Playstation 3

The most obvious of the few PlayStation 3 problems that you will encounter is the one that has to do with the high definition scaling. To be sure, this problem crops up whenever your PS3 does not support HDTV and more particularly 1080p because it will end up causing your PlayStation 3 to set its console’s output to 1080i and that in turn will result in your image looking pretty ordinary.

Cannot Play PlayStation 2 Games

Another PlayStation 3 problem occurs whenever you try playing PlayStation 2 games on your PlayStation 3. This problem occurs even when you play the newer PS2 games as well as when playing the older games such as the Final Fantasy series. This PlayStation 3 problem has to do with how the menus are displayed and even the graphics may freeze up sometimes.

Yet another common PlayStation 3 problem has to do with the capabilities of the PlayStation 3 in handling and playing back media. The truth of the fact is that it seems that the PlayStation 3 can only play JPG files as far as photographs are concerned, while on the music front the PlayStation 3 plays Sony music format as well as MP3, ATRAC, MPEG-4 and AAC. Thus, if you try and read media from CF or SD cards, you will encounter PlayStation 3 problems and the same will also occur when you try and get the PlayStation 3 to recognize a thumb drive that you might have attached with the help of a USB.

That however is not the end of woes for an owner of the PlayStation 3 because there are other PlayStation 3 problems to contend with such as the SIXAXIS controllers not being detected by the PlayStation 3. To get around this PlayStation 3 problem you may need to continuously plug your controller via a USB in order to synchronize the controller to the console. One possible reason for this PlayStation 3 problem may be that when downloading the latest 1.11 firmware updates, there is a bug has yet to be resolved by Sony.

Thus, despite the many advantages to owning a PlayStation 3, some of these common PlayStation 3 problems are robbing owners of much of the fun and until PlayStation 3 problems such as high definition scaling and slow browser as well as crashing of consoles are fixed, Sony may well end up having to pay a heavy price in terms of sales of this gaming console.
